Job Description
Job Overview: Estimator Job Type: Permanent, Part-time or Remote.
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. As an
Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing project plans, assessing project
requirements, and preparing accurate cost estimates. The ideal candidate will have
experience using estimating software.
Responsibilities:
Review project plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
Prepare accurate cost estimates using estimating software. - Analyze project
costs and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures. - Collaborate
with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure
accurate estimates. - Provide support during the bidding process.
Provide accurate take-offs and for door frames and hardware.
Participate in project meetings to provide cost estimates and analysis. -
Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and change orders.
Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an estimator.
Experience using estimating software (Avaware is the software) or similar
software. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:
3 years of experience in the commercial door industry, specifically in doors,
frames and hardware.
Proven ability to estimate multiple projects.
Strong knowledge of estimating software (Avaware)is a plus or similar
project estimating software.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ideally located locally, but remote candidates with a proven track record of
working remotely will be considered.
Prepare submittals for final approval using software.
