Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Dayforce Consultant / Configuration Specialist to support an active HRIS Transformation project.

\n

\n

This temporary contract position will work closely with the HRIS Program Manager and HRIS team to configure, test, troubleshoot, and implement system enhancements across Dayforce modules.

\n

\n

This is an execution-focused role rather than an advisory or assessment position. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Dayforce configuration experience, can independently work through assigned requirements, and is comfortable managing configuration changes from initial build through testing and deployment.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

Dayforce Configuration & Enhancements

\n

\n
• Configure and maintain Dayforce functionality across multiple modules, with an emphasis on Recruiting, WFM, and Compensation.
\n
• Build and modify forms, workflows, approval routing, notifications, and other system configurations to support business requirements.
\n
• Configure system enhancements and process improvements based on documented requirements and approved designs.
\n
• Troubleshoot configuration issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
\n
• Evaluate configuration options and identify potential impacts, dependencies, or system limitations.
\n
• Support configuration needs across additional Dayforce modules as project priorities evolve.
\n

Testing & Implementation

\n

\n
• Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new configurations and enhancements.
\n
• Investigate defects, make configuration adjustments, and validate resolutions.
\n
• Support migration and deployment of approved configurations between Dayforce environments.
\n
• Document configuration changes, testing results, and implementation details.
\n
• Assist with post-deployment validation and troubleshooting to ensure changes function as expected.
\n

Project Execution & Collaboration

\n

\n
• Work with the Program Manager and workstream leads to understand requirements, priorities, and expected deliverables.
\n
• Independently manage assigned configuration activities from development through testing and completion.
\n
• Provide regular progress updates, communicate blockers, and identify dependencies requiring follow-up.
\n
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other functional teams as needed.
\n
• Follow established change management, documentation, and testing practices.
\n

Qualifications

\n

Required

\n

\n
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Dayforce.
\n
• Demonstrated experience configuring Dayforce workflows, forms, approval processes, and related system functionality.
\n
• Experience supporting Dayforce Recruiting, WFM, and Compensation modules.
\n
• Demonstrated hands-on experience building, modifying, and troubleshooting Dayforce XML forms and advanced workflows, including approval routing, conditional logic, and workflow configuration.
\n
• Strong understanding of Dayforce configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment practices.
\n
• Ability to translate documented business requirements into functional system configurations.
\n
• Experience performing unit testing, troubleshooting defects, and validating configuration changes.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate and resolve system issues.
\n
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
\n
• Ability to manage assigned work independently while collaborating with a broader project team.
\n

• Experience supporting Dayforce implementations, optimization projects, or post-implementation enhancements.
\n
• Experience with multiple Dayforce modules beyond the primary areas of focus.
\n
• Experience working within structured project environments with documented requirements, testing, and change management processes.
\n
