The roles vary from mid-term substitute placements, with you working directly in a classroom Monday through Friday, supporting students and staff on a consistent, daily basis. \n Zen Educate partners with public and charter schools across various school districts. We help schools hire dedicated paraprofessionals and teaching assistants, creating smart, timely matches that support students with special education needs and build stronger school communities.
You’ll be stepping into a teaching assistant position at a preschool site, helping to lead activities, manage the classroom, and provide a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 2 –5. You’ll follow the school’s curriculum and routines while collaborating with other teachers and support staff.
\n Key Responsibilities:
\n -Assisting with daily classroom routines and activities for children ages 2–5
\n -Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
\n -Support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth
\n -Collaborate with co-teachers and staff to follow curriculum plans
\n -Communicate effectively with staff and families
\n -Maintain classroom organization, safety, and licensing standards
\n -Assist with personal care duties such as toileting and diapering.
Required Qualifications
\n - Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field with equivalent ECE coursework (Bachelor's preferred) or CDA Credential
\n - Six months of experience in a licensed early childhood setting
\n - Ability to work independently and lead a classroom when needed
\n - Reliable, professional, and passionate about early learning
\n - Eligible to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
\n - Educator License/Permit
\n - Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification
Salary
\n Pay: $21 - $23 per hour
\n Schedule: Flexibility of work, Monday through Friday

\n - Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable state and local law
