Esports Lab AssistantThe Esports Lab Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Varsity Esports teams at Post University. This position requires 10-20 hours per week.Location: Post University- Main Campus – Drubner Athletic Building Esports LabSupervisor: Jonathan Martin, Esports CoordinatorRate of Pay: Minimum Hourly rate as determined by the state of ConnecticutThis is a seasonal opportunity with a start date as soon as possible.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The primary responsibility of the Esports Lab Staff Worker is to assist with the daily operations of the Varsity Esports teams which includes but is not limited to:-Greeting those who enter the esports lab ensuring only authorized people enter the esports lab-Ensuring that visitors to the esports lab properly sign in-Ensure that all the University owned esports lab equipment stays in the esports lab-Report defective esports equipment, peripherals, and furniture to the Esports Coordinator-Enforce the esports lab rules-Other projects and duties as assignedMinimum Skills, Training and Attributes:-Must be a current student at Post University eligible for Federal Work Study-Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with the department associates, the University’s students, and guests-Strong time management and organizational skillsHow This Position Will Benefit You as a Student:-Students will gain exposure to a professional esports environment.
