The UOES division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, research initiatives, athletics, alumni, and annual campus celebrations.BaristaThe Barista prepares and serves high-quality coffee and tea beverages to guests, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards. This is a guest-facing role that involves delivering excellent service to University guests and campus personnel in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Greet and anticipate the needs of guests, providing excellent servicePrepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to brand standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including dining and prep spacesStock and replenish supplies in service and prep areasProcess guest checks, handle payments, and follow accounting proceduresAssist with cleaning, table arrangement, and trash removalPerform side work and support coworkers to ensure a seamless operationQualificationsCapable of managing time effectively with minimal supervisionPositive and respectful attitudeExcellent communication and listening skillsAbility to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time)Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food productsAdditional InformationPay Rate: $17.50/hr + tipsThe University of Notre Dame seeks to attract, develop, and retain the highest quality faculty, staff and administration.
