Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin is seeking a 1.0 FTE BC/BE fellowship-trained Trauma Surgeon to join an established 7-member Trauma Surgery section. This opportunity features an acute care trauma service model covering acute care surgery, critical care, and trauma at a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained, board certified or board eligible, and ready to contribute to a collaborative, high-performing clinical environment. Practice Info Marshfield Medical Center (MMC) in Marshfield, Wisconsin Established 7-member Trauma Surgery section Level II Trauma Center Acute care trauma service model covering all aspects of acute care surgery, critical care and trauma ICU and trauma services are each supported with allied health providers Acute care surgical service includes surgical resident supervision Responsibilities Participate in trauma research Staff the SICU, Acute Care Surgical Service, trauma patients on the floor, and trauma activations as assigned during day and night coverage Compensation Annual compensation of $605,000 if you complete required number of shifts for 1.0 FTE $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details) Benefits Health, dental and vision insurance 401K plan Short-term and long-term disability Life insurance CME allowance Allowed time away Malpractice insurance and tail coverage Relocation allowance Shift & Schedule 1.0 FTE Trauma attending is in house 24/7 4-5-night shifts per month Qualifications BC/BE fellowship-trained Trauma Surgeon Completed a Surgical Critical Care or Acute Care Fellowship (ideal candidate) Board certified/board eligible for surgical critical care through the American Board of Surgery Interest in participating in trauma research is required H1B or J1 visas accepted
